Is your child a North Texas history whiz?

Your kids won't think history is boring after visiting our museum. To keep things interesting, send your little ones on a scavenger hunt to answer the following questions:


Question: Nat Fleming owned a store called The Cow Lot. When a customer would come in to buy a new hat, what would Nat do with the old one?

Answer: He would display it in his store.


Question: The North Texas oil boom started when the Clayco No. 1 well struck oil over 100 years ago. What was the exact date?

Answer: April 1, 1911
